This handsome 10" by 12" sculpture is a reproduction of Remington's 8th bronze, which he created in 1902 and titled "Coming Thru The Rye". He styled this ambitious piece after an illustration he had previously published in Century Magazine. Impressively, only 6 out of 16 hooves are touching the ground in this piece. Intact, wonderful.
